CLUB MEETING:
The next club meeting will be the club Banquet, May 10, starting at 4:00PM. The meeting/banquet will be held at the HolField Gun Club on Whalen Rd. in Bloomfield.
End of Season Banquet:
The season is finally over not that I’m happy to say that but, it had to end sometime. So that means it’s time for the end of season banquet.
Event Details:
2:00- Clay Bird shooting, $3/round bring your
Weapon.
4:00-Last meeting of the year!
6:00-Food is served
We ask that if you are planning on attending that you RSVP to Dave Brocklebank at 585 657-6551 he knows how many steaks to order and cook.
SNOW SHOW/GRASS DRAGS:
A willing group of volunteers has been formed and has already been meeting up. They will be meeting with the other clubs before our last you can be updated on the event and let you know how you can also help out.
If you are one that would like to help out you can contact Terri Saxby.
Bunkhouse Update:
The feelings are mixed but in general it sounds like it will happen again next year. We are still waiting on final figures to make our final decision. If we do it another year that would gives us real usage. There are several ideas on how to cover the expense which will be decided when the time comes around.
GOING ELECTRONIC:
As I we are cutting down on the expense of mailing newsletters we are now emailing the bulk of them. There are a few members that have requested they get the newsletter via post that we will accommodate. Should you wish to receive the newsletter via post, please contact me. TRAIL UPDATE/BRIDGES:
Many thanks to all that showed up on Sunday the 6th to help unmark the trails. It was all done in just a few hours and was a good time as well. Even though the seasons over there still some work that could be done to make it better for next year.
Say “HELLO” to Andrew McMath. He is our Trail Coordinator. Please come to the meetings or contact Andrew via the webmaster if you would like to sign up to help mark the trail, work with landowners or anything else relating to trail work for next year. We always need help with maintenance. Be sure to stop in at the meeting and give Andrew your phone number along with the best time to contact you for trail work for the next season.
